We are finally living in France. Bienvenue à notre vie à Roquefort-les-Pins!
We traveled with quite a bit of luggage, as we headed to France indefinitely. Here are some photos of our voyage from Logan International Airport in Boston to Nice, France.

Lots of luggage!

We arrived in Nice in the late morning to beautiful scenery and flowers in bloom everywhere. Eric's Aunt Claire and her little "purse dog" Fanette greeted us after we passed customs. We traveled to our new home along the scenic route, passing through Nice and then little towns like Cagnes-sur-Mer and Villeneuve-Loubet.
When we arrived in Roquefort-les-Pins, we stopped at Le Moulin de Flor, an amazing bakery in town, for some croissants (bien sur) and also a French baguette.
We ate the croissants and the bread too quickly to show anything but an empty, slightly greasy bag. Mmm croissants!
Finally, we reached our new house. Our petite maison is actually the guesthouse for Villa L'Ecrin, which roughly translates to Jewelry Box House. And what a gem it is! Villa L'Ecrin belonged to Eric's great-grandfather Pepe Jean, who lived in this house a very long time ago. Now Eric's Aunt Claire lives here, of course with her beloved Fanette.
Here are some photos of Villa L'Ecrin.
